Skype call+

Last night I was able to use my new toys - a microphone and a webcam! Below is the evidence:

Here I am, in the little photo, talking to Dafne last night (Friday, January 26, 2007). This screenshot was created because Dafne led me through several steps: First, I sent a Skype chat message to Dafne about my new tools. I did not realize that the audio and video capabilities are used in a call and not in chat. Second, Dafne called me in Skype and we talked and watched each other. This was so exciting! Somehow the idea of creating a screenshot came up... Third, Dafne taught me how to create a screenshot. How to capture a screenshot for use in pbwiki (on a PC): With the image on the screen, hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard (This captures the image on the screen. Open the Paint program (Start-Programs-Accessories-Paint). Paste the image (Edit-Paste). Reduce the white space around the image (use the tiny dots on the edge of the frame to resize). Save image as a jpeg file (Save As-.jpeg). Upload file in pbwiki (Upload Files-Browse for file name). Add file to wiki! (see my wiki code)
